Cat peeing randomly is not revenge, there may be other reasons

Some factors that are not considered "roadblocks" by humans may be a big problem for cats. For example, household appliances such as washing machines that make a "rumbling" sound on the way to the litter box, and doors that suddenly close due to wind can all affect them.

Cats have two sets of olfactory systems, and their sense of smell is at least six times that of humans. Additionally, the height of a cat's nose above the ground is much lower than that of humans. So the threshold for cats to feel odors is much lower than that of humans. Through this, it can also be noticed that owners should try to avoid buying smelly cat litter when purchasing it. It is recommended to clean the litter at least twice a day and the litter box once a week.

For most cats, digging and burying after using the restroom is just as natural as eating. So it is recommended that the thickness of cat litter be at least 5cm, ideally the thickness that does not stick to the bottom after the cat litter has clumped up.

Some cats prefer open litter boxes, while others prefer concealed ones. If conditions permit, it is recommended to provide different litter boxes for cats to choose from. After all, only by giving cats the right to choose can we know what they truly like.

Cats need to adjust their comfortable and sensory posture when using the restroom. So the litter box needs to be 1.5 times the length of the cat's body, and the height design of the capped litter box also requires the cat to have enough space above its head when defecating.

Most cats prefer soft, small particle cat litter. However, each cat has different preferences, so it's best to let them choose and try different cat litter to feel and select the litter they like.
