1. First use

① Preparation of cat litter box: Before use, please thoroughly clean the cat litter box, dry it of moisture (to avoid moisture causing premature clumping and bacterial growth), and ensure that there are no residual odors or traces of cleaning agents in the box to avoid affecting the cat's acceptance.

② Cat litter laying: Pour green tea flavored bentonite cat litter evenly into the litter box, with a recommended laying thickness of 6-8cm. If the cat likes to sand and is easy to sand to the bottom, it can be appropriately increased to 8-10cm to effectively prevent excrement from sticking to the bottom and improve the clumping effect; If used for kittens, it can be slightly reduced to 5-6cm for easy entry and exit of kittens.

2. Daily use

① Daily cleaning: It is recommended to clean the litter box once a day in the morning and once in the evening. Use a litter scoop to accurately scoop out clumps of feces and urine, and clean gently to avoid puncturing the clumps and reduce dust flying and odor spreading. After cleaning, seal and discard the clumps. Do not pour them into the toilet (bentonite swells when it comes into contact with water and can easily clog pipes).

② Timely sand replenishment: After each cleaning, observe the thickness of the cat litter, replenish new cat litter in a timely manner, and maintain a standard thickness of 6-8cm. If a small amount of scattered dust is found in the litter box during sanding, it can be gently sieved to keep the cat litter clean while retaining the fragrance of green tea.

③ Regular deep cleaning: It is recommended to thoroughly replace the cat litter every 1-2 weeks. When replacing, pour out all the old cat litter, clean the litter box with a neutral cleaner, rinse it thoroughly, and then air dry before laying new cat litter. If there are a large number of cats in the home (2 or more) or cats excrete frequently, it can be shortened to once a week to avoid odor accumulation and bacterial growth.

3. Replacement and Cleaning

① Sealed storage: Unused cat litter should be sealed and stored in a dry, ventilated and cool place. It should not be placed in a humid environment (such as the toilet and balcony corner) to prevent moisture, caking and loss of deodorization effect. At the same time, it should avoid direct sunlight and retain the fragrance of green tea essence.

② Moisture proof treatment: If it cannot be used up within a short period of time after opening, 1-2 packs of desiccant can be placed in the cat litter bag to further prevent moisture and extend the shelf life of the cat litter.

4. Precautions

① Cat ingestion of small amounts of litter is generally harmless. If there is a large amount of ingestion (such as frequent licking, vomiting, diarrhea), please contact a veterinarian in a timely manner.

② If you find that there is a lot of dust on the cat litter during use, you can gently tap the surface of the litter to allow the dust to settle, or increase the laying thickness appropriately to reduce the dust generated during sanding.

③ Do not mix cat litter with other types of cat litter (such as tofu litter, crystal litter) to avoid affecting the clumping effect and deodorizing performance.

④ Abandoned cat litter belongs to dry garbage. After sealing, it should be put into the dry garbage recycling area. Please do not dispose of it casually and keep the environment clean.
